There’s something special about finding a book you really love and sharing it with someone else.
Our friends at Kingsley Book Club have very kindly donated books to Annabel’s Book Club, as well as spending time reading and reviewing a wonderful selection of books for us, sharing their thoughts on the stories and what makes each one worth picking up.
We hope their reviews help children, young people and families discover a new favourite, whether it makes them laugh, takes them on an adventure or simply gives them somewhere to escape to for a while.
We’re incredibly grateful to everyone at Kingsley Book Club for their generosity, time, kindness and continued support of Annabel’s Book Club.
Among the books they kindly donated was 32 Stories of Inspiration, which Pete Mackey has had the pleasure of reading and reviewing.

Very funny, clever and a bit sarcastic. You never quite know what’s going to happen next!

A cosy, feel-good fantasy filled with wonderfully unusual characters and a story about finding where you belong.

A collection of short, uplifting stories about life, kindness and seeing things a little differently.
